Terms and Conditions

Everest Thrill Trek and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. has built some terms and conditions to reduce the possibility of future disputes. This will help to make an agreement and conditions to be followed by both parties, which are our company and the client (you). It is mandatory to make you aware of our terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are made up lawfully so that if anything goes wrong, the matter can be legally solved. The following are our company's terms and conditions that you should be aware of:

  • Bookings: It will be great if you make your pre-bookings for the trip before arriving in Nepal. When we say trips, it denotes all activities like treks, hikes, sightseeing travel tours, adventurous activities, climbing, etc. Sometimes the packages get fully booked, so make reservations for yourself a few days before the trip. The trip can be booked through email or calls as well. We make quick responses to our emails. Book your date and stay relieved. For the details about the trip, you can check out the website where we fully describe our itineraries, costs, number of days, and all the information regarding the trip.
  • Payments: We will require the advance payment to confirm your pre-bookings. We have a condition that the clients will have to pay a minimum of 20% of the total costs, which will be considered nonrefundable. We will be using that amount to process permits and other necessary place bookings for your trip. The advance amount must be transferred through online payments within one week of inquiry and reservation. And the remaining 80% is to be paid after you arrive in Nepal, before beginning the trip. (P.S: If any emergency arises and you cannot arrive in Nepal, then the reserve could be held in your name for a lifetime. You can join the same trip again in the coming time. This is only in exceptional emergency cases.)
  • ​Modes of Payment: We accept all kinds of cards, like debit cards, credit cards, Visa cards, master cards, and American Express cards. You may also send money to our account by bank transfer. We keep all the statements of receipts. The full payment can be made after your arrival; we also accept cash and online transfers. We provide you with full bank and account details in the email.​
  • Form the Contract: After you decide to travel with our company, we come to a contract. The contract is a mutual agreement between the client and the company. We make the contracts in written form. You should be giving all the correct information regarding your passports and details. You should be responsible for the bookings and all the due payments. The contract will include all the details of the trip you choose.
  • Trip Cancellation: Whenever you cancel your trips with us, we will need a valid reason which should be truthful. We will observe your situation and make the refund according to the problem: Canceling the trip before a month will let you have an 80% refund, and we will be deducting 20% of the cost. Canceling the trip from 7 to 20 days will cost you 50% of the booking will be deducted by the company. If you cancel the trip without any pre-information or details, we will be forced to take all your costs and provide you with 0 refunds. As mentioned earlier in the payment section, any emergency case will require a lifetime booking deposit. Cancellation by the company: We rarely cancel trips, as our main motto is giving you the best service. We only cancel the trips when unavoidable circumstances like natural calamities, strikes, lockdowns, bad weather, etc. The company provides you with the full refunds that you deposited under these circumstances.
  • Medical Condition of the client: Before joining the trip, the client has to provide their health certificate, which states that their body is fit and they are mentally fit to join any kind of travel activities. Mainly, if you are joining activities like trekking, climbing, hiking, and adventurous stuff like paragliding, rafting, etc., you must have a physically fit body and a mentally sound mind. Minor age, mentally retarded, pregnant, etc., are highly discouraged from joining these activities. The company won't be able to provide special treatment during the trip. We do not take responsibility for any physical casualties during these conditions.
  • Discounts and offers: The company does not provide discounts throughout the year. Discounts are given during the following situations: We give discounts when the season is off in Nepal and when the flow of tourists is less. If you have a large group of participants, it will depend on the number of people. Rates differ during special holidays. When the company has occasions like the company's anniversary, jubilee, etc., plus school and college students can get the packages at a reasonable price.
  • Medical Travel Insurance: Not every place in Nepal is a city; we might go through remote, high-altitude areas, which carry risks themselves. Risks like landslides, earthquakes, floods, snowstorms, etc., are uncontrollable. Although these scenarios are uncommon, it is still a good idea to get travel insurance. It is compulsory to take travel insurance to cover your protection during the trip. The insurance company compensates you for the damage you have suffered. The lost bags can also be covered through insurance during the trip if you have full evidence.
  • Trip Amendment: Trip Amendment is a condition where we have to make changes in the itinerary due to uncontrollable situations like floods, landslides, bad weather, etc.; Traveling in remote or high altitude areas is never predictable. If some difficulties cause delays in the trip, we will have to spend time in the nearby places. You should accept the changes in such a situation.
  • Necessary Documents: The clients are requested to carry all the necessary documents, like their passports and visas, in Nepal. You should carry some photocopies of your passport and colorful passport-sized photos for necessary situations.
  • Rules and Regulations: The general rules and regulations made by the government of Nepal are to be strictly followed. You should avoid restricted places and are required to take photographs where they are prohibited. Take photos and videos with the consent of the other side. Do not throw dust and plastic anywhere; keep it until you find a dumping site.
  • Photos and Videos: We, Everest Thrill, might use the photos and videos taken by clients or our team without any notice or compensation. Those photos and videos can be used for publicity and promotion. You should agree to grant this permission to our company. However, if you genuinely request that we not use pictures or videos for promotion or publicity, we will respect your request.
